Review drafts of regulatory documents, state and interstate standards on certification of products and services and prepare relevant proposals. Maintain confidentiality of incoming information.

To carry out the decisions, orders and instructions of the main state service "Turkmenstandartary" on ensuring radiological safety during the certification of the listed products brought to the territory of the country from abroad. Participate in the development of certification plans. Acceptance and consideration of applications for certification. Certification of products brought to Turkmenistan in accordance with the requirements of relevant regulatory documents.

On the basis of the received applications, to carry out analytical work in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents at the location of the products, and to select samples for testing and submit them to an accredited (certified) testing laboratory. To prevent the sale of low-quality products that do not meet the requirements of relevant regulatory documents to buyers and import into the country. Maintain business documents on approved list.
