Establishes the supervision and development of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan and the Law "On Underground Resources", the implementation of the main directions of the State policy in the field of labor protection.

Compile a list of enterprises regardless of their subordination, economic types (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Security Service and Border Service military personnel are not included in the list), including enterprises and entrepreneurs created by individual citizens (hereinafter - enterprises). , to submit for approval and provide state control over the creation of safe and healthy working conditions for the employees of those enterprises to perform highly productive work, the preservation of natural resources and their efficient use.

On the basis of specially prepared questionnaires, state control of the compliance of enterprise managers, all official specialists, the requirements of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, the Laws of Turkmenistan "On Underground Resources", "On Licensing Certain Types of Work", "On Certification" and regulatory documents arising from those laws. and conducting an audit.

Participation (as a part of the team) in conducting state analysis (expertise) of compliance with the requirements of Turkmen state standards (TDS) of labor protection regulations of industrial production (facilities) reconstruction, machinery manufacturing technology projects, and registering projects.

The Regulation of industrial accidents (injuries), occupational diseases approved by the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan No. 14780 dated 20.05.2016 and industrial disasters (technical accidents) of the main state service "Turkmenstandartary" dated 15.09.1995. Based on the manual approved by Resolution No. 20, conducting a special assessment, managing cases, keeping records and monitoring the implementation of the prescribed measures.

Carrying out a special investigation to determine the circumstances and reasons for the loss of equipment and devices containing explosives and sources of ionizing radiation in the enterprises, and to keep records.

Organizing the development of legal and organizational, scientific-methodical documents on labor protection together with other departments of the "Turkmenstandartary" state service of Mary Velayat.

Regarding issues within the legal scope of the department, to consider the letters and complaints from businesses and citizens to the "Turkmenstandartlary" state service of Mary Velayat in the prescribed manner and to prepare relevant documents for agreement.

Registration of hazardous facilities and equipment (lifting facilities and mechanisms, boilers working under pressure, containers, pipelines), ensuring their technical inspections and tests are carried out in accordance with the procedure.
